There isn't much of a fix other than replacing the unit. You can try searching to seeif anyone has had luck with it but once it goes it's not coming back.

i read something in the AV manual of my 05 g35 about locking the cd changer before you take it out... while the radio is off you push a certain button and it locks the changer...

my point is could you have mistakenly locked your cd changer... just throwing that out there.. but it might not be the case if you never turned it off...

The CD ERR FO is the screen of death for the head deck. It will need to be replaced or repaired.

Try these guys: http://www.shortcircuitrepair.com/infiniti.htm

They are a NICO sponsor.

When is Infiniti going to quit it with the faulty head units?

I had the same problem with my I30. And numerous maxima HUs had that problem.

It's because they have their audio units are made by Clarion.

There is no fix. I just had mine replaced under warranty for the exact same symptoms.

I would cost you less to install an aftermarket double din.

You can buy the dashkit, or just custom fab with your existing one. Both have proven to work.

I'll probably buy a new DD head unit, and then just buy the kit when my craps out too... lol

yea appreciate for the suggestions... but ima go with a new double din head unit rather than paying for the oem headunit to be replaced or fixed

Good choice, while you're at it you should consider replacing the front door speakers and bose amp, it makes a night and day difference!
