yeah. sounds like that rear left channel could be your problem.

were you able to bypass the amp to see if it possibly the stock amp? i did see amps on ebay but i'm sure that you can find them else where for possibly cheaper.

I hooked up a aftermarket bluetooth which works good. Not as great as i hoped it would be but its better than not being able to stream music.

FINALLY Have some fixes.

I replaced the rear with 4ohm kickers but still had the short problem.
I rewired the fronts and they worked but a few times the would cut out along with the rear left.
The bass and center would clip out as well over bumps.

I would crank volume to get them to pop back on.

The audio installer for the Lc8i said it sounds like a phase problem.
I replaced the RCA cables between the lc8i and amp and checked polarity all looked ok.

Finally I removed the rears from stock amp going to lc8i and it seems all problems went away but so did my bass. I had not mids or bass and just fronts played. So I connected the lc8i all channels this time to the fronts and now bass has come back.

The only thing now is the left side front and back are connected to the front/main (since there is no rear stock amp signal coming in) So the left side balance just controls both left speakers and same for right

weird thing is the fade works but now the fade to the rear just goes all to sub if set that way. the fronts have NO bass going to them unless I have the rear fade on.

Either way it works now, sounds much better without cutting out over bumps. and better sound stage still overall it not a aftermarket setup the headunit just sucks and my Bluetooth still sounds like crap and cuts out still and feedback.

I am think my stock amp is just fried except for the front channels and sub. I saw a company in florida that rebuilds these I will get a quote.

Hi,
So to get this right, there is no way to tap into the signal before the stock amp, it has to be after the stock amp right?

I'm regretting adding the mediabridge for bluetooth etc. Think i would be better off adding a aftermarket HU where the clock is (instead of the factory cd changer) It would need some custom fitting but not only have aux usb etc but also have proper RCA output. Only thing it would lack would be steering controls but i could live with that. This mediabridge plus the audiocontrol is putting me in new HU territory financially.

Hi
That's correct. The stock amp has a BUS connection that controls the volume from the HU. So you have to tap into the speaker leads from the brown harnesses and send those to a LOC or after market amp (whichever setup your doing). Hope that helps

You can tap before the amp, and it doesn't take much tof control the volume.
