Ok, I replaced my clutch and flywheel the other day because my clutch won't disengage when I step on the pedal, I put everything in, it worked for 5 miles and did the same thing again!!! It won't go in gear when I step on the clutch at all!! It will go in when the car is off. Now the clutch pedal feels like it's losing pressure again. I replaced my slave and the master still pumps. But when I pump it hard, than stop, the fluid looks like it goes back up. When I took the transmission off, the throwout bearing was still hooked on to the fork, everything inside looked fine, I have no clue, plz help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just replaced my clutch a week ago. Had a few problems, too! You never mentioned clutch pedal adjustment, your problem is, possibly, there. Good luck.

May still have air in the lines. If you kept the block with big loop disconnect it and throw it away. Then turn the line 180 degrees and connect it straight to your slave cylinder.

Thanks for all the responses, i'll disconnect the block today and adjust the pedal to see what happens, hopefully that fixes the problem.

Darn it!!!! I disconected the clutch line and plugged it right to the slave. the pedal feels stiff now, but when I start my car it does the same thing!!!! The clutch pedal all of a sudden gets really soft and feels like theres like no pressure. It felt like my throwout bearing was rubbing against my pressure plate when it started. Like grinding wise. Do you guys think it has something to do with my throwout bearing. When I took my transmission off, there was a sleeve inside the bearing, was that suppose to be there, the sleeve is suppose to move around freely right?? Plz help

I just got the damn thing fixed today, took me a few hours but it works great now. I bought the whole transmission for $20!!!! I just unbolted the sleeve off the transmission and put it on mine. I got a whole transmission for sale if anyone wants it. I'm sure you can get one at a junk yard, but don't expect to get it for $20 unless your lucky. I was lucky.

Any idea how many miles were on that transmission, and what year engine it came from?

Yea, it came off the car of the guy that sold me his turbo and act clutch, lol. He blew his motor and putting in a 1JZ, yea thats right, a 1JZ.. I gotta check the shipping cost of the item though. Only thing it's missing is the sleeve plate I took off for my car. It has 150,000 miles and came off a 95. He told me the syncros were going bad. Make me an offer if u still want it.

Nah thanks anyways though... I was thinking maybe having a backup transmission would be nice, but not one with that many miles and blown synchros. Sweet deal you got it fixed though, and the transmission probably is worth something to someone so score!
