Help! Steeling wheel vibration!

i have 1999 qx4 and i recently purchased tires from tirerack.comi out on continental cross contact 255/65/16.

i had tire shop put on tires and balanced but when i go at 60-70 mph the steering wheel virbates. i went back to the guy 3 times and all these times he re-balanced and rotate the tires. shop had very bad service and finally he told me that tires were defected.

i got 4 new tires and went to diffrent shop..same problem. i went back to shop twice already but they dont seem to know what the problem is.

my question is: does anyone here have Continental tires?? is it the tire brand or something else wrong with the car.

remember when i had old tires on (kumho) i had no problem.

can someone please help me with this.

Try tire rack customer service. They have great service. They might be able to refer you to a local tire-rack authorized tire center, they contract their work out to local tire guys, so if your tires really are defective, they should replace them. Was it night/day difference when you switched the tires?

yes it is day/night diff. with new tires.

i did contact tirerack and they send me 3 new tires..but still the same problem.i did go to their recommended installer..he couldnt find problem with car or tires.so he suggested change the brand of tires.

now im waiting for yokohama geolanders from tirerack.
