okay... heres the deal, my cars (91 Sentra SE-R) not cranking... im getting power at the coil side of the relay (so the ignition switch is fine), and the clutch saftey switch is functioning properly and getting current, but im not getting 12 volt at the relay (switch/starter side). the fuses are all good (best as i can tell). i dont have my manual on me tonight, im getting it back in a few hours so i havent been able to look at a wiring diagram. i was just wondering if anyone had any ideasmy battery is also fine, and theres no load at all on the electrical system when trying to crank.im suspecting a bad connection somewhere right now.please... any suggestions are greatly welcomed.thank you-Pete (f***ed) S.

So have you changed the starter and your still having the problem cause its a little hard to understand what you have done.

If you haven't replaced the starter and its not doing anything then i would say your start has gone off to a better place:)

Before it stopped working completely, when you would try to start the car, would it sound like the starter was cranking slower like your battery was low on voltage? Thats what was happening in first car before i replaced the starter then the car would crank fine. I would get a new starter.

uuummmmm.... I hope i helped you, of course the title of your own thread sums it all up for you.

ok try running a jumperwire from the small (12awg wire) terminal on the starter solenoid run that up to the battery area , with the car in nutral touch the wire to the positive side of the battery , if the starter runs we know thats not it .

also in the SER's G20's and NX2000s there is a fuseable link in the way of the starter circuit , has a very nasty tenacy to go bad , i cannot remeber where it is in the circuit or where in the car, but you saying no power at a relay makes me think you are a vicitim of the fuseable link
