I have tried to search for this topic but I found nothing. Any help you guys can give me would be great. I have a 92 240 coupe with a Q's front end. I have just finished installing a what I think to be a red top. It does however have the fiins on the front of the head like a (s13) black top does. Anyway here is my problem: The car runs and idles fine, however when I give it full throttle and it hits full boost it begins to break up really bad. I did all the wiring myself, checked the CAS, changed plugs, checked timing, changed MAFS, checked for boost leaks. Can anyone give me some ideas as to what else I need to check for? I was actually thinking about changing the injector o-rings next what do you guys think? Thanks.

Did you upgrade the fuel pump?

No I still have the stock fuel pump( which I know works), And I am at stock boost. I really can understand why its breaking up like this at full throttle, and or full boost.

The stock 240 fuel pump wasn't meant to supply the pressure needed under boost and could explain your problem. Most people with SR/RB swaps or KA-T go with a new pump and fuel pressure regulator.

Your spark plugs could also be bad.Your timing could also be off.

Im not sure what you mean by good stock stuff for the ignition system. I have a stock s13 sr fuel pump that I will try tonight. Could I possibly have a clogged injector?
