HELP. SR will not crank. I have 12v but sounds like no power

i recently broke down one of my SR cars. It ran amazing before i broke it down and after. (took off the s15 turbo, 750 injectors, z32 maf, and pfc) i replaced all of these with oem s13 sr parts and the car cranked up and ran fine..



I take the car off the jack stands the next day to take it for a test drive and it spun over about 7 times sounding like it had very low battery power and then it just quit. It would then sometimes turn over about 3 times and then make a nasty grinding noise from the starter, Now all it does is click. I have replaced the starter, starter relay, re done all of my connections,replaced battery, jumped the car etc. the problem is still there. I thought maybe the engine froze up but it turns freely.


any ideas on what the problem could be?

yup, my old zenki's KA did the same s***.

you will need:
-a buddy
-some 16-14G wire
-a buddy's car
-jumper cables
-socket set to include extensions and sparkplug socket
-pliers
-clean rag

this is what I did:
-first i disconnected all the fuel injectors from there powersource
-i checked all 4 sparkplugs for spark. just take a wire, grab a buddy and ground the end of the plug to the chassis and have your buddy turn the key. did you get spark? yes, move on. no= check your ign relay and cas and if the plug is in the coilpack correctly// note if plugs are covered in a fluid its just fuel, clean them off with a clean rag and if theyre dirty use a toothbrush to clean the carbon, or replace them
-with injectors still unpowered replace the plugs and hook up the jumper cables + to + and - to -
-turn off all lights and blower, close all doors

wait

try to turn the key a few times to burn anything in the cyl.
replace the injectors with power

and try to start.


i know KA isnt SR but similar problems and this is what i did.

[fuel, compression, spark, timing, and wiring] this is ALL you need to get a motor to turn over.
check each one individually, what ever is faulty fix and you should be set.
