Help. Speedometer needle sticking!

So i was installing new gauge faces on my s13 analog cluster. i put them on and noticed the speedometer needle was sticking. it seems fine if you lift it up a bit and dont mess with it, it goes back down fine. im scared that when i install it, it will either stick, wont go past a certain mph, or go up halfway then stick. is there anyway to fix it. my rpm needle, i can move it all the way up and it goes down perfectly. i want to do that for the speedometer, or at least make sure it wont stick after reinstalling it. thanks
