i just bought a set of 17" Sentra SER spec-v rims for my s13 coupe. back fit perfect, and the front will not fit over the 30mm z32 calipers. I guess because of the spoke design, how it kinda bows out. I was thinking to fix this problem by getting those brackets which will allow me to run the 12.75" 350z track rotors, which will in turn push the caliper out allmost 2" to a part of the rims thats further out on the bow. Also, i could put beefy spacers on there and if this all fails, i could just get a grinder and grind down the back of the rims until they fit lol. i dont mind spending the money because i will in turn be getting bigger rotors and better stopping power. my question to you guys is,... have any of you done this or know of anyone who has successfully mounted 17" spec-v rims over 30mm z32 calipers? and do u think this theory could potentially work?

thank you.

your 2 options seems to be the good but kinda leaning towards spacers. maybe you can push it out a little bit to flush the fenders. if you get those caliper brackets, make sure that it will clear the wheels or else you be getting a spacer. you wouldn't want to grind the wheel cause it will offset its balance or might weaken it

also whats the offset on those wheels?

im pretty sure offset is 47 on the spec-v rims. funny thing is that my factroy 15"s fit no problem over the z32 calipers with 5mm spacers and the 17's are waaaayyy off, but im pretty sure its because the 17's dip in then bow out. the 350z track rotors should fit because i measured the rims right against the bolt holes on the inside, its 15" exactly across and the track rotors are 12.75 and theres no way the caliper sticks out anymore than an inch past the end of the rotor and i have 2.25 inches to work with. and thanks r3v for responding to this thread instead of just tellin me to buy new rims like evryone else on my other forum i use. i like these rims because there 4 bolt and really nice lookin oem nissan rims and come hell or high water i will figure this out!

i figured it out. someone with the same setup told me with extended wheel studs and 30mm spacer they fit fine over the z32 calipers. close thread please
