i just bought a set of 17" Sentra SER spec-v rims for my s13 coupe. back fit perfect, and the front will not fit over the 30mm z32 calipers. I guess because of the spoke design, how it kinda bows out. I was thinking to fix this problem by getting those brackets which will allow me to run the 12.75" 350z track rotors, which will in turn push the caliper out allmost 2" to a part of the rims thats further out on the bow. Also, i could put beefy spacers on there and if this all fails, i could just get a grinder and grind down the back of the rims until they fit lol. i dont mind spending the money because i will in turn be getting bigger rotors and better stopping power. my question to you guys is,... have any of you done this or know of anyone who has successfully mounted 17" spec-v rims over 30mm z32 calipers? and do u think this theory could potentially work?
thank you.
