Hey folks,

I ordered everything for my setup for 06 Coupe and have started the installation process. I've gotten the coilovers installed and was going to install the A-arms and the rear camber arms but I ran into some issues.

I figured out how to resolve my issue with the A-arms.

However, I still have an issue with the rear arms and I could not find any solution.

My situation is this: I am trying to install the arm and the bushing on the arm seems to be took big and is bending the bracket (the one that the bushing is supposed to be sliding into) outwards.

Is this a normal issue? If not, how would I go about resolving this issue?

Thanks guys!

you have to make an oblong hole for the mount. it allows to adjust. have you done this?

Red Det or biggie will surely answer you better.

That wasn't the issue. I resolved it. Thanks for the help though.

Mods feel free to delete this thread as it is no longer an issue.

Usually the bushing is a little bigger than the bracket and is a tight fit (usually takes some forcing to get it aligned). Not sure if that was the issue or not.

It turns out that the arms I had were for a G35 with rear active steering. To be honest with you, I didn't even know G35's came with active steer. I thought Infiniti only started including that feature on G37's. Oh well, I guess you learn something new everyday, right? :gotme

Anyway, so the bracket that the bushing needs to slide into is wider on the G's w/ active steer, therefore the bushings on the arms that I had were wider. After a stressful day of phone calls yesterday, I got the issue figured out and the new parts overnighted. They should be here by 3pm this afternoon (according to Fedex).

well how about that. i guess the bushings were wider to allow play for the active steer. very interesting. glad you got it fixed up.

i will be ordering camber arms for myself soon as i want them on before i get new rubber.
