Hey guys there is a weird sound when i turn my steering wheel. It sound like "clanks" when i move the steering wheel. You think it could be either the inner tie rod, the outter tie rod, or the tension rod? the sound is coming from in front on the car. Soundes like its near my front wheels. Evertthing i turn or brake i feel it? i dont know what is wrong, but i wanna be safe so i need to find out the problem and fix it. thx

i can't look for you... basically just jack it up & see... suspension parts like swaybar bushings as well as the other stuff you already mentioned.

cant do this, mebbe a fellow NICOnaut that's local can help you out/ goto a shop that does free under-car inspections... ie an alignment shop???

he prob won't find it unless it slapped him on the face... Y i suggest a fellow NICOnaut in your area or a garage...

remove front wheels & remember to use stands/not just the jack themselves when crawling under there; i don't wanna hear another incident of seeing someone being crushed by their car... just look @ all the rubber pieces under there/ brake dust shields, etc...

of course man, it is not safe if you dont put stands. that is a given. Well looks like my bushing are bad. I might redo my suspension since these are stock parts and are like 17 years old.
