heres the story,

hauling A up the on ramp of I-275 to get into the lane i need to get in and all of a sudden traffic stops, which isnt unusual, but it caught me by suprise. slammed the brakes the locked up (i was doing about 80mph) fish tailed a little bit, luckily didnt hit anything, then as i go to drive a way may car starts galloping like a damn horse or something, this was like 1030 at night so i had to wait until the next day to investigate, and heres what i found along with some pics of my car

in green: notice the different depths of the treadin red: notice the rubber chunks on the edge of the tread

Sounds like you have a bald spot, or your tires are cupping. If you slammed the brakes on hard enough and long enough it will create a bald spot, as your car goes you hear a thumping noise very fast, replace the tire, or move it to the rear and it should go away mostly.

Haha. I locked up the right front on the z at 130mph after being cut off by a semi going 50mph. The tire was so flat spotted that the car was undrivable at 60mph+. The tire was half worn with one bald line of cords showing going across the tire. I also blew out the right rear caliper piston seal at the same time, which drained the system, which blew the master cylinder. $400 worth of damage in one slam of the brakes. Fun huh??

YA, YO, i,m back fresh out of prison. Don't ask. I agree just a flat spot repalce the tire. If it rolls smooth then "gallops" when you hit the brakes to slow down, you warrped the rotors.
