help-small miss at part throttle

we are having a problem at part throttle, i have a haltech e6x and msd dis-2. now i have a proffesional tuner tuning it, and apparently he says he cannot tune it out. he wants to put the ka24de distributor back in, saying the CAS and coils are crap on nissans? i didnt think so, so can anyone tell me if they think they can make this go away and if the KA distributor is a better plan.

What the hell? There is nothing crap about direct ignition.

Given that we have no clue what this guy is doing to the maps there is very little we can do to help you. Check your tip-in enrichment, and timing retard... but thats a shot in the dark.

that is exactly what i was thinking, but heis getting told by someone who works at a nissan dealership that if he had this setup he wouldnt even mess with the CAS and go to the distributor, which i dont know how you would seeing how they dont match up. i have also seen people using only two coils and running spark plugs, does anyone know what coils they were using or any info on it at all?

we have now successfully gone to a mitsu coil and four spark plugs, the car is running and running ok. we need to make some plug wires or find some that work. will the sr20de plug wires fit the det?
