Hey. So I've been looking for a new car lately and I've narrowed it down to two final options, and both happen to be Nissan. My first option is the Nissan Sentra 2015. 1.8 CVT transmission. While my second option is a Nissan Altima 2013, 2.5 automatic transmission too. Both are brand new, the dealership just hasn't been able to sell two 2013 Altima's. I know for sure I would choose the Altima over the Sentra in no time, but the fact that it's a 2013 already makes me doubt it a little.
Both cars have the same price. The Altima is only $1000 more than the Sentra because of discounts and stuff.

I would like to know which car would you choose. Thank for your help.

Anyway, go with the Altima. It should be worth more down the road.

Warranty starts from date of purchase, right? If so, there's no reason not to get the Altima unless the slight difference in gas mileage bothers you. The Altima is worth way more and so will have more value down the road when you're ready to sell it.

It really boils down to what you want. Both are good cars and should last a long time. The Altima is a considerably bigger car than the Sentra. So if you plan on hauling people/stuff, the Altima is more practical/comfortable despite the slightly lower gas mileage. But if you spend a lotta time in the city and parallel park, the smaller Sentra might be a better choice. I had an Altima SL sedan as my wife's DD for many years and it went on many long road trips without any fuss. It was far from a canyon carver, but it never stranded us and returned good gas mileage. A solid car for many years. My wife's only complaint was it had a bigger than normal turning radius, which simply meant a slight inconvenience in tight parking lot maneuvers. As far as newer Alti's, you'll hear a lotta hype about the "NASA inspired zero gravity" seats which is advertising fancy speak for memory foam. But once your tush sinks into the seat, they are actually pretty comfortable. Good luck.

Actually the zero gravity seats have absolutely nothing to do with the material they are made out of. Its all about the position the human body reverts to when sleeping in a zero gravity environment... so these seats (and really the entire interior) is designed to get you as close to that position as possible.

...of course that all goes out the window when you start adjusting the seat/steering wheel/hang your arm out the window, etc.
