I just installed new KYB/Eibach sportlines in my S13. Also just put on my Falken Azenis(205/50-15). I thought this would get rid of my wheel hop on hard acceleration but it's just as bad. The car is prety old(146000miles) so I may need to start replacing bushing too.any help would be great.

What do you have for power?

wheel hop is caused by crappy subframe bushings, either replace them or get inserts.

"wheel hop is caused by crappy subframe bushings" this is true to a point, its actually caused by the "grip-spin-grip" problem, which can be caused by subframe bushings, lack of power and a tire thats juuuuust sticky enough to grip, a differential problem, and other things.

my car has wheel hop, too, after checking a few things, I've dtermined it subfram bushing related, but I think my tires have a lot to do with it.-chet

power is pretty much stock.

Maybe I'll try the subframe bushings.

240_keyy--- where did you get your bushings and how much?

I got mine from CTC Motorsports in Dallas for $190, they have to special order them from Japan. You might be able to find some Kazama ones for about $120 if you look for them long enough.
