I've been trying to get information about the RWD SR20DE. What I know is that the FWD SR20DE in the U.S. won't swap in a 240sx. I'm having a hard time finding information about it. Can anyone help!!!!!!!!!!

Also, the other engine I'm considering is the CA18DET. It seems logical that it would be easier since the CA18DET is accessable in the U.S. I'm asking if anyone could help me in this dilema??

RWD SR20DE's come in 4 regular flavors from Japan, the S13 SR20DE (140hp), S14 SR20DE (160hp), S15 SR20DE (165hp), and Autech SR20DE (200hp). What info do you need on them? They arent terribly hard to find.

CA18DET's found in Japan were never sold in the US, they are just as hard to find as SR20DE's.

CA18DET and CA18ET are different engines. Lots of similarities, but still many differences.

the only difference between sr20de and det is the heads , DE has different exhaust valve guides, smaller exhaust valves, and maybe smaller coolant passage in the head (dont quote on this one). The compression is 9 to 1 on the DE and 8.5 on the DET, other than that it doesnt have a turbo.
