we were routing the MAP sensor and fuel pressure reagulator thorugh the left nipple off the manifold, off the right we put the BOV, MBC, and wastegate on. we thought the map wasnt getting a right reading. so we switch the the BOV, MBC, wastgate to the left nipple with the FPR and the MAP to right nipple. this made the car really smooth under 3k, but missed and bucked at full throttle over 3k, and the bov was not blowing off.

is there a one way valve, or something going on with the left nipple under WOT concerning the FPR so it will run rich under boost?

here are pictures of the "nipples" please explaine exactly what they are reading off of, or routed to int he manifold, if they are routed to different places?

Here is how i have always read it should be and adhered to for myself...

use accessories and fpr on left nipple. use BOV exclusively on the larger right nipple. Currently I'm using a MAP Sensor (for my boost gauge) and FPR on the left nipple. I still need to add my boost controller and I'm going to try it on the left nipple. we shall see the effects.

we aslo started with the FPR and MAP on the smaller nipple, but i was getting a small studder at 2200 that wasnt going away no matter what we adjusted. it went away after i switched the MAP to the larger nipple. thank you for the information. what accessories would you be talking about on the smaller left nipple, BOV, MBC, wastegate? and when you say "exclusively" do you mean only the bov, not any other T fittings on the line, just direct to the BOV?

accessories means anything other than what is used to operate the vehicle. The only necessities are BOV and FPR. Accessories would be boost controller, boost gauge, etc. Exclusively means only the BOV should be using the Right (larger) nipple.

Also, the actuator is best ran from the intercooler piping. Do you not have a nipple on either your cold or hot pipe to pull the source for the actuator from?

i do not have a source on the charge piping. but i could have one welded to the hot or cold pipe, in that case which one would be better. the 3 bar map sensor is also a necessity, that is one of the problems, we think it is not getting a good signal.
