Help! Replaced Fuel Pump and FPCU! Pump not running!

As stated in the title I replaced the two items with used parts purchased from a member here. Now I get no pump noise at all and no start. I ran the car as a test after just replacing the FPCU and it worked. I replaced the pump and now it's dead. I've replaced the fuse, plugged both parts in, but get nothing. I hooked the old pump back up (and grounded it) and it didn't hum either. Any ideas at all? I need to get the car back together quickly as it is my daily driver.

Update:OK, I jumpered the FPCU again and it worked. I then plugged it back in and it started to operate normally. I took it for a test drive and it worked great. A little later and the car would start, but would sputter and die. Any ideas?

Read the mother of all fuel pump threads in this forum. Have you inspected the FPCU for fried leads?
