Got a newer rear driverside quarter window to replace mine since the weathestripping is cracked and came into some trouble attempting to replace it. Anyone know the best method for getting the old window out and new in? I was able to get one cotter pin out from the arm that pushes the window up, but the way that the guides slide in the track, make it hard to get the window out since it hits the adjustable stops before coming out.

Anyone have any experience taking this window out? any pointers?

Thanks,

John

raise the window up to take it out, they are impossible to get out with the window in the down position.

I had it up, but after I got the pin out on the arm that actually lifted it I couldn't figure out what else was neccessary to free the window and slide it out...

undo the 3 stud/bolt things on the inside of the panel and lift the entire frame/regulator/window out.

Hmm, I had the top two out, must have missed the bottom, I'll give it a try next time I head home for a weekend, kinda figured it was something along those lines...

Thanks for the help

I think its 3 per side been a while since I did it last. I know there is at least 1 at the bottom though. I can check tonight, I don't have a rear seat or rear plastic so they are easier to get to.
