To think this succubus was almost only a heart beat away from the Presidency...

You should know better than posting links and stories from sites like that. $5 says that the money will go to some 9/11 charity.

Furthermore:

"Tickets for the event range from a low of $73.75 per person (including taxes and fees) to a high of $225, for a spot in the arena and participation in a "meet and greet." There was no indication to whom or what the proceeds will go."

Nice try though. $225 for the most expensive chair in the room. $73.75 for the cheap ones. And note the last clause.

Fale.

Yeah, that's a stretch on a lot of counts, Homey.

One, it's not terribly fair to slap a label like "prostitute" on someone who's done nothing to deserve it. That's like digging on someone's kids or spouse. You're above that.

Two, she was nowhere near the Presidency. Obama won handily, and even if he hadn't, McCain will outlive all of us. :)

Three...well... weren't you JUST drilling the "comments" section of another craptastic website? Don't look now, but the 1/10th of the story on that "blog" is followed by some commentary from some real "mental giants".

You're slipping. Don't let IBC take the belt from you, Champ.

Hey! I resemble those remarks!

Tariq, I'm learning how to predict which links you're going to post. I know your secret, farker!

I didn't read the article, and it wouldn't surprise me if a portion of it went to supporting families of 9/11 victims or some such (whether it would if no one had noticed the fee, on the other hand, is another matter completely). That said, Palin's got a habit of charging a lot of money to hear her speak, so I also wouldn't be surprised if a larger portion went to feeding her (present and) future campaign.

its among the dozens of blogs and sites i read a day:

The Washington Post
The Atlantic Monthly
Andrew Sullivan
The Economist
The New Republic
The New York Times
Politico.com
FoxNews.com
Slate.com
Salon.com
The New Yorker
The Spectator
The Christian Science Monitor
and Foreign Policy Magazine

those are the major ones. If i post something from fark, its usually picked up by the other media outlets. That being said, Fark is a site for wacky news. In this day and age, little that this country's politicians can do, could not be considered wacky.

There's a guy at my office. Really nice; soft spoken. He's from Texas, and he's really friendly. Always willing to have a conversation. I was walking past his desk at lunch one day, and I saw him reading Drudge, and I was little heartbroken, I'll admit.

When bad news happens to good people... ;)

Helio, I've never seen someone so devoted to the right. I think you obsess about their events & watch more Fox News than they do!
