You need the lock that goes at the end of the piston to turn it back in. I think you can get one at Autozone.

you dont need a lock, the piston should have a big cross in it, you can use a huge screwdriver, or something else to turn the piston counterclockwise and push it back into the caliper.

On my S14 it doesn't have a cross. It only has the four "cuts" on the outer parts of the piston. So a screwdriver didn't work. The only thing that did work was that lock tool. I even tried a vice and turning the piston/caliper but that didn't work either.

its hard as hell, but I just did mine... you have to use a set of needle nose plyers to do it with. You will curse the living hell out of em, but it can be done with plyers.... make sure to adjust your parking brake when done as well.... mine was tight enough to drag my pads and make them smoke

open up the break fluid reservoir and that should take some pressure off thus letting you screw that mothafuzz all the way in.

Yeah you can use needle nose pliers or even some vise grips to grip the piston and turn it counterclockwise. Just be careful not to rip the rubber boot that wraps around it.

a rear brake piston tool is like $5 at sears, autozone, advance, pepboys, etc. just get the right tool. if you have to do it right now, then use vice grips. they make it easier than pliers.

Yup, the tool is like 5 bucks at AutoZone or Napa. And yes, you turn it clockwise to push them back in.

Make sure you crack open the bleeder screw or take the cap off the master cylinder reservoir when you push it back in.
