I pulled my rb20det out of my old s*** shell and dropped it in a new one. Everything has been kinda smooth with the transition. The motor ran great prior to the swap and now im running into some issues.

I can start the car with the mafs unplugged it will idle and rev, Then when i plug the mafs in it will idle for about 30 seconds and die if u dont rev, if u do rev it dies instantly. I have all ic pipes on and tight, i did away with the recirc piping. It ran fine until now, i got it to rev with the mafs plugged in for a good 45 secs but as soon as i stopped it died. I have no clue wtf to do now. My r32 cluster is also on the fritz as no guages work at all, and all i did was put it in this shell, worked perfect in my other shell. Im about ready to call it quits. Any help would be appreciated. i will update as i can. Also if u have any questions that might help diagnose the issue let me know and i will answer them to the best of my ability.

I am guessing you swapped out the wiring harness over right? do you think you could have striped some wires?

u did away with the recirc piping? from the bypass valve to the rubber intake hose before the turbo? thats open at idle, reattach that and it should run fine, this is because the motor is sucking air thru the open bypass valve instead of the maf which tells the ecu the motor isnt getting ne air,

it runs with the maf unplugged bc it goes into limp mode
