Help!! rb20 throwing codes 13 and 43

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

my rb20 is throwing code 13 - coolant circuit and 43 - throttle position circuit.

whats going on???

300zx Coolant Temp sensor, as for the TPS not sure which one crosses over for the RB's.

thanks yellow4g63, so i just grab a 90-91 300zx tt coolant temp sensor?

anyone have any ideas about the throttle position circuit?

I think is the non turbo but there prob the same. Not sure of the year, If CarlH feels like it he can reminde us all cause I dont rem lol. I rem the plug was blue.

As for the coolant sensor, use one from the early 90's cars. Most of those sensors are interchangable from model to model. Yes, some are different, but it only takes a few minutes at the parts counter with your sensor to check for fitment. As for the tps, old QX4/Pathfinders and Q45's have them. I'm not 100% sure, but 90-93 sounds about right. The connector on the sensor is the actual range potentiometer, the wire out to connector is the open/close switch...mainly used to tell the computer your up to something. Hope this helps.

it depends on what 'series' rb20 you have if you have an early (rb20 embossed on the front cover) then the sensor is diffrent than the late...basicaly if you have a square connector then one from an early z will work 90-92 iirc, after that if its oval 93-95 on will work, least last time i checked.
