HELP! rb20 t-belt Tensioner

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

hey guys help.. i cant find a timing belt tensioner i got a greddy belt but not going to replace it w/o new tensioner.. anybody??? or atleast a part number?

You know I have been looking into that for a while now. Some guy on RB25DET.org said you can use the Skyline one. But The Nissan manual gives a diffrent part # for the RB26. RB25/20 use the same. I haven't tried the skyline one yet tho.

Hmm try rbmotoring, they should be able to get you one. Are you just changing it because or is yours worn out. I wanted to change mine but after inspecting it, it spun free and smooth. Only thing was it had some slight rust on the outside. So I just reused that one and just replaced the spring...

I bught a new timing belt and when I went to change it I noticed a new water pump, timing belt, tensioner, and idler pulley :) Thats the only thing I lucked out on, though, so dont hate too much.
