HELP!!! RANDOM NOISE

okay i dont know whats wrong with my car but its starting to make a weird *** noise from the driver side its coming from the wheel area, when driving very slow it sounds like a socket wrench turning than when u speed it up u dont hear it anymore and when u let go of the gas to slow down its making a thump thump thump noise and when u turn the tire it makes a thump thump noise i have after market 20 inch rims on the car and its only coming from the driver side theirs also spacers on all the wheels could it be the spacer broke? because im also smelling a weird smell from the car as well almost as a kind of digusting burning plastic and rubber mixture

check the tire/surrounding area to c if heres any sign of rubbing other than tha i got no idea maby someone else will

no rubbing this just randomly happened i had the rims on for about 6000km now honestly just started yesterday after going up a hill lols i thought i was going paranoid but when i hoped in today the sound seems as if it has become louder

Take wheel off car and check for anything abnormal. If you are smelling a rubber/plastic burning smell, thats almost certainly a rub.

what would be abnormal? i dont have much knowledge about cars , could a spacer be the problem if its broken? because the smell just randomly came yesterday when it started making this noise

Well, I heard the noise randomly after I hit the brake hard or hitting the brake very often in city driving. It doesn't happen all the time. But there is no burning or rubber smell like. It's not very loud though, it's just like screeching noise like there is a dust on the calipers. In a little while the noise will go away. Better check your tires if you smell rubber.

okay i took off the wheel everything seems fine? i got my friend to watch my wheel as i was driving its moving straight and not rubbin today i washed the car n took it out for a drive it seemed fine than when i got on the highway boom the noise was back and now the steering wheel is starting to vibrate from this, if i bring this to the dealership any1 think their ganna give me **** for havin aftermarket rims on that i didnt buy from them? i mean they are a bunch of sobs any1 wanna blow my car up so insurance can pay me haha
