Help! R50 power steering pump

Okay, I'm new here and I recently received a 97 Pathfinder 3.3L. The power steering pump has always surged and maked noises if you turned the wheels without moving. Okay, so it's time to replace it and I am not sure how I shôuld go about it. I do all repairs myself and easily have access to the tools, but can someone explain on how I can remove the pump. The splash guard is removed, and the belt finally broke some short time ago do it's just bolted in. Anybody? I'm not quite sure this is the forum for this, but I am in dier need!
