Ok my friends 240 is at my house we just cleaned the throttle body and MAF taking all of it off even the throttle body off too. When we put it all back together we could not use the gasket for the throttle body and had to go with out it cause nothing was open. We got everything back together and now the idle is really ****ed up we checked all the vacum lines and all of them are good. if we dont have the gasket in there will it **** the idle up much as it is or did we mess up something in the MAF witch i dought. if we disconnect the MAF sensor connection it will idle really high but when we hook it back up it will almost die idleing. we also checked the throttle cables all good NEED HELP QUICK 92 DOHC engine

Thanks again guys

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you gotta big vacuum leak, even though it looks sealed, there's probably gonna be some imperfections in the metal that are't gonna let it be airtight

behind the throttle body, chances are Nissan didn't mill it to be an air tight metal to metal seal

it's gonna suck in more air than the mafs registered and probably try to miss as well
