Hey guys,I have a 95 240sx with an N1 rb26dett swap in it. The power steering pump when out and I was just wondering what replacement pump to get. I read on superstreetonline(website) that on the s14 chassis there would be clearence issues trying to fit in the rb26 because the crank pulley will be too close to the radiator so you need to put it the rb25 crank pully on the 26 motor to fit better but doing this the ps pump would not be aligned right. So what I was wondering was should I but the rb25 or 26 ps pump. Sorry for not being so clear on last post. Solved issue because the seller told me the rb26 crank pulley is on the motor. THAT ARTICLE SUCKS BALLS!!It is possible the do swap w/o clearence issues regarding crank pulley.

But hey the lines are leaking to so if anyone has done this swap or knows about can I use 240sx ps lines on this swap and they should fit the 26 pump right?

Yeah, that wasn't very clear, but I'll give it a shot.

R32's that had HICAS (RB20det's and RB26's) had hydraulic HICAS which was run off the power steering pump. These had an extra rib on the pulley (4 ribs) and on the crank pulley, I assume because the pump had to do more work. Not sure.

R33's that had HICAS (RB25det's and RB26, not sure about the n/a's though) had electronic HICAS and used a 3 rib instead of 4 rib pulley and matching crank pulley.

You'll need to match your pump with your crank pulley. I've never heard of people having crank pulley clearance issues with there radiator (I also haven't done an S-chassis swap yet) but I think if your motor sits close enough to the radiator for that to be an issue, you have other problems like where the hell are you going to put you fans? Can you link to the thread where you saw that?

Dude who the hell cares if he has an N1 motor. A built normal RB26 is far superior to an N1 anyways.

Tell us what kind of pump you have and then we can help...

first of all it has nothing to do with postcount. it has to do with the fact he (you.) were banned for making racial slurs and spamming yout s*** for sale all over the board. when banned temporarily you said "i was gonna leave anyway" so we basically said dont let the door hit you in the a** on the way out. now, in the terms of service that ALL of you have agreed to, it states if you are banned you are not allowed a 2nd account.

secondly, i know this is still you. you arent very good at this.

finally out of the 750 WHOLE posts you have made i guarantee the majority of them are NOT helping members s*** you have 4 in this thread trying to hock your crap. so your argument is invalid.

and while i am not as active as i used to be im pretty sure ive helped 1 or 2 people on this board over the years.

i have responded to your email.
