Hi guys,

I got a '91 240sx with 240k miles on full stock. All of a sudden my car is the battery light inside the car went on, The next day i couldnt start then i tried to jump-start my car but as soon as i disconnect the booster cables my car stalls. So i bought a new battery and installed it, but battery light was still on. I assumed it was the alternator. I took of the alternator and went to peppoy for an alternator check. THEY said the alternator is producing the correct voltage or ouput, in other words it is working... sheesh.. now what? what other problem can it be?? engine electrical problem?? hope no... i had no idea of what else can it be.... i still assume the problem is with the alternator..... anyone have any idea???

Have you ever replaced your wiring to and from the batt.?

Do what the guys in car audio do. Connect a large 2 gauge battery cable from the alternator directly to the positive terminal of the battery.
