Hello, I have a 2k Maxima SE w/145K miles. I replaced the starter on it already. When I start it up, it starts just fine, but then it sputters and shakes etc. It will start to run smooth but the top speed is only around 45mph. I took it to a mechanic and he said that my 2 fuel injectors were bad and 2 ignition coils were too. I found a set of ignition coils and was going to have them replaced and my injectors manufactured. I also purcahsed a new fuel pump to install. My question is do you think this will solve the problem or do you think it is more serious. Thanks.

That could definitely be the problem. Sounds to me like you're going in the right direction with it.

Welcome to NICO.

When you gave the description, bad coil(s) is what came to mind, and then I read on and saw that that's what your mechanic is saying, and then some, so yes, I think that sounds about right.
