so ive been looking all over craigslist trying to find a good buy......and since i live in the north rust is horrible up here. I finally found one worth mentioning its a 1991 hatch white, s14 seats, dc headers, catco converter, and some exhaust.

heres the link for it...

http://milwaukee.craigslist.or....html

so i emailed the dude..

and here are the pics of the frame rails and rust he sent me...... assuming theres none on the body b/c he didnt send me any

so my question to you is is it worth buying, how hard is it to fix the rust and how much to fix it price wisethanks for looking!

That's not bad at all considering my rails were two pieces. It looks like surface rust on the side of the rails, but I would ask for a picture of the underside of the passenger rail, not just the side. But, I wouldn't pay $3,000 for it.

Dont EVER assume anything when buying a car, EVER. Especially a 240 because someone will forget or "accidently" not remember to fill in the blanks & tell you or show you things because its easier to sell it to you in person, even if there are some more problems than you originally wanted.

Hey i know wisconsin is ALOT farther north than cinci but i went down to knoxville to get mine cause i wanted rust free. Cincinnati uses salt so i checked every craigslist within 1000 miles and finally found one where they dont use salt on the roads. Got plenty of pics and verified the guys info, Took the truck and rented a trailer and went and got it. probably cost me 300 but its better than fixing a bunch of rust which is like cancer once its there its everywhere.

Is there anywhere remotely close to you that doesnt use salt on the roads?
