help please!? weird clutch problem!

i searched the whole forum for an answer and found nothing. i had a new spec stage 3 clutch installed a couple days ago, and after the second day of my break in period i noticed a loud ticking noise. (it sounds like a loose screw flopping around in the bell housing, but goes away when the clutch pedal is pushed in) so i figured that eliminated a loose screw idea. it comes and goes periodicly. does ANYONE have an idea of what this could be? i dont have a clue, and i think its getting worse!

didnt have this problem with an old slipping clutch.wtf???!

did u bother checking if somethings loose take ur transmission out check ur clutch u could be wrecking the clutch , if somethings makeing the noise and getting worse u shhouldnt drive it till u find out ,

yeah i stopped driving it. but the weird part about it is, that the car 'drives normal'. no slippage or anything. but it has that god awful noise. i checked what i could under the car with a stock jack.(all i had) and tried tightening up bolts. nothing different happened so im pretty sure its coming from inside the bell housing. i wont be able to rip everything out till friday and im trying to get an idea of wut i may have to replace. ive never had a problem like this. i was hoping someone may have a clue.

Sounds like the noise is coming from release bearing if it goes away with pressing the pedal.

if i was able to post a video id definatly do that. from what i know... a bad bearing would make a loud roar when you release the clutch if im not mistaken?? the best way i can describe this sound is a piece of metal or a bolt rattling in the bell housing. or imagine putting a bolt in a jar and rapidly shaking the he** out off it. needless to say,, its not a pleasant sound . car is not happy at all..

does the noise increase when you rev the motor? you might have to drop the trans and check the flywheel. flywheel could be coming loose.
