2003 altima

Just got rack & pinion replaced on my 2003 altima 3.5 as im leaving the shop that did the work i noticed that my air bag on dash are blinking.So i asked them why that would be,the owner tells me that he wasn't sure so he asks his machanic if he had unplugged anything.Of course he replies no.So then the owner goes on to tell me that it didn't have anything to do with the work they did & that i need to have my airbag sensor reset.I found it a bit strange that the airbag indicator hadn't flashed before going in for repairs.Well little did i know,i also have no horn,no cruise control or stereo adjustments on the steering wheel.I plan on taking it back to the shop on Monday,can anybody please give me a little insight as to what is going on?Thanks
