i desperately need a ca18det MAF if anyone just has one laying around that they have no use for. if anyone has any idea of where i could get one i would really appreciate it. if u could just let me know a price (reasonable) i would get back to u. i did want a z32 maf but due to conflicts with money, basically me not having any, i wouldnt be able to get it and a S-AFC 2. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Well I don't know how much of a hurry you are for it, but I should be able to sell you mine in the next couple of weeks. I'm bidding on a Z32 MAFS as we speak so when I get it I shouldn't need mine.

Hey Jon, I'm gathering up the stuff I need (gauges, MAFS, gaskets, boost controller, ect) How do you want to work this thing with the chip? I need to be able to drive my car for right now, so I'm probabally going to pick up another ecu and get that one resoldered and then just swap them. Anyway, lemme know.

Hey rookie.

Since I'm in your back yard, feel free to ask questons or come and see me for upgrades or just to see a really nasty CA18DET in person.

i know! all these Florida CA people..kinda wish someone was close enough to me that i could go and see them..however, i DO have family in Cleveland and perhaps one time on my way up there i could let you Ohio people know and check out some other CA powered cars.

you know, ive never been in a 240sx powered by any other engine..not even the KA. kinda wish i could have driven mine with the KA so i could have something to compare by. anyway, good luck with getting the car up and running. i know how it feels to be broke (when have i not been broke?) and funny enough, i even have an extra ecu like you do. oh well. back to class.

Rookie, the bid on eBay ends in 3 days, so it won't be till next week, plus I'll have to get that chip from Jon. He needs to email me or something. Hehehe.

Quote »does anyone else use nearly 2 tanks of gas a week? id do and i dont drive more than 50 miles in that time (usually only 50km). 40 bucks a week in gas is keeping me from further modifying it.[/quote] Your car must be really running rich! Regap your plugs to .029 and lay off the pedal when there's no need! This should help a bit.
