6 weeks??? it should only take a few hours if the tech knows what they are doing... ive assembled a KA and had it in the car and running in 10-11 hours, of course the car ran when i took the old motor out, if there is a Nissan dealer ship in the area call them and describe the problem, a little more clearly(no offense), get an estimate if you can without bringing them the car, then go from there
