Help Please...

Hello i really need your guys help. Heres my situation Last night we were coming back to my house and al of the sudden my engine started making this horrible clunking noise( i what i believe it to be cyl. #1). so i pulled it into the median and a friend took me up to a close gastation and i bought some oil, put it in nothing happend still clunking (but it sounded like it got a little fainter). so i start her up and try to make to the gastation thats about 300 yards away. And i make a good 20 feet and the engine shuts off. So we push my car the rest of the way to the gastation. theirs a guy who says hes a mechanic up there so he took a look at it and said that my car jumped time... im not sure but just wanted to get everyones opinions and experiences on something like this. just would like to find out before i get down and do anything to the engine.

sorry about that its just i thought i might get quicker responses here, i just hate not being able to drive my baby. but tommorow im going to start breaking her down and try to find the problem then if its not to sreious okay but if its bad im going to rebuild her bigger and better...
