Hi, I'm just wondering if any of you think you can know whats wrong with my car. I got a 1997 240sx. Alright. When I gas it pass 3,000 rpm my engine seems to dies out or bogs up and not go anywhere...seem like its not gettin' enough feel our something? What do you guys think? I need help.

Try cleaning/replacing your MAF. I have one for sale if you want it. So your saying your car really wont rev past 3k right?

Yeah when it rev pass 3 it just bogs up or something. You think its the MAF?

i agree. its definately your maf. mine did the same thing (^3000rpm just bogged down), turned out that the wires running from my maf got a little too close to the fanbelt. anyway, clean your maf and check the connector and wires. if that doesnt work than u probably need a new one.
