By the time i picked up my gf and got home i had NO power steering at all :/ I need some help here, did my power steering pump just crap out? is the rack f*****? whats the issue here? also, will it hurt my car to drive it like this?

Impossible to say without further investigation. It might be as simple as a ruptured hose. Assuming the pump is fine, you can damage it by driving without enough fluid. Pumps don't like to free-wheel, they wear faster. If the PS is the only thing on the belt, you just remove the belt, but I don't know if your car's like that. Get it on stands if you can and poke around.
