so i e mailed a guy about his 240sx... and i asked if he had pics... and how low eh would go.. and this is what he said "the body is not perfect, and also it has a salvage title. 1800 is good but i can probably go lower. it is all stock but pretty damn fast, i took out 3 si dohc civics (late 90s) wit mods, also raced a type r with headers and intake and he took my by about 3 cars ahead of me. also took out a mustang pretty sure it was v6. thi8s car needs a tune up though. write bak if interested, thanks"

idk what to think.. if like tune up means the engine is ****ed or what!if anyone has any advise please hook it up!

im a first time car buyer so i new to all of this incase you were wondering why im asking such a dumb question....

thanks for reading..

if the title for the car has "salvage" on it, doesnt that mean it cant get licensed or insured?

i would go look at it, if you dont know a lot about cars, bring somebody who does and give it a GOOD lookover. with a salvage title, i wouldnt pay but half of what the cars worth. some people would, but i sure as hell wouldnt.

You need to check your state DMV. In some states a salvage title means you can not register the car. It also means something is wrong with the car, usually been in a major wreck that the insurance companies declare it can not be fixed.
