I changed my sparkplugs and since then my car runs terrible, it sputters and sounds like nearly stalling at stoplights. Sometimes it seems fine and sometimes its terrible. I believe the code my mechanic told me was a P320 code but i cant find that in the manual. Help please...I know the last two digits were deffinetly 20, and it most likely relates to the sparkplugs or ignition system becasue it started right after i changed the plugs.

yeah i checked again and your right it was 1320. This means it could be any of the coils or plugs then correct?

wouldn't it most likely be one of the plugs since it ran perfectly fine before i changed them and now it runs terrible? or is it possible a coil got messed up just from plling them out?

It could well be the plugs if you didn't use the OEM recommended NGK.

In any case, it should also have stored a cylinder misfire code.

Exactly!

Owner or technican abuse from overly agressive removal of coil and coil to plug extension.

Based on some life studies published by Delco and others it appears that the recent coils might be considered one time use. Or at least a high probablity of some failing just after plugs are changed.

Coils, plugs, injectors, cats, belts, idler pullies: just wear and tear items that should be budgeted for to maintain as new.

I've never heard of cats failing. Being murdered, yes, but failing? It's not that I don't believe as much as I am curious.

Buy a few shops and see for yourself how the quality has declined since the 1990's. Especially after 2001. Not just Nissan but every manufacturer in an attempt to keep selling pices down vs REAL inflation. They all last thru 80-100k but seem to fail faster soon after but I am use to no cat failures in 90-93 even with 400k.

The OEM specified plugs work so well there is no need to experiment.

Never a problem on the VH series.
