help please MAF issue

So I did a 5 speed swap on my 98 s14. My maf was working fine before the swap after the swap my car is iddleing rough. It turns off after I let go of the gas. But if I disconnect the maf it idles fine until it gets to 2500 rpm. I tried a different maf and it does the same thing

Is the car throwing a check engine light? Pull the codes and see what the issue is.

Its giving me the p0100 for the maf. But I tried a different one and I had the same issue

Did you reset the ECU in between the tests? Typically a manual swap doesn't cause issues like this.
