Help please mabe bad IAC

Ok i finally got my car to run after messing with the timing but it wont stay idleling unless you take iac hose off the intake once u put the hose on it idles real high then dies. But when u let it run with it off it runs ruff. I thought it mabe a vacume leak but i cant find one anywere also i just change the iacv and its still the same. Please any help
