Hello all, and thank you in advance for taking the time to read and reply!

First off, I have a 93 240sx SE.
I just recently did a clutch / flywheel swap. I replaced the following with NEW parts.
the clutch kit i used was from South Bend Stage 2(i heard good things about them with my last car so i gave it a go on the 240 also)
Heres the part # and description with the clutch kit.
STAGE 2 DAILY: K06054-HD-O

Engineered for HP modifications. This Heavy Duty Pressure Plate has an increased clamp load with little or no increase in pedal pressure. The Organic disc material has a high metal content that increases the co-efficient of friction by two times over a stock lining and increases rotational strength up to a 12,000 RPM burst point. This clutch system maintains a stock feel while offering strength and durability.

Recommended usage is daily, street and moderate race.

Pressure Plate(had a DXD sticker on it)
Clutch(it said Exedy on the clutch disk)
Flywheel
Pilot Bearing
Throwout Bearing

After i finished the swap, I filled the transmission back up with fluid, topped off the clutch fluid.
I had a friend sit in the car, I opened the clutch bleed valve as he pumped the clutch several times before i closed the valve off to no more bubbles and just fluid coming out.

I got into the car, and immediately noticed very little pressure in the clutch pedal..
I bleed it again, still no change in the pedal pressure.

with the car OFF, I can shift into any gear no problem..
with the car ON, It struggles hard to go into gear.. I notice that the car wants to go a bit forward when i lean the shifter into first gear but it wont go, same with reverse. I had to pump the clutch a bunch and lean the shifter pretty firm into the gear to get it to shift into first while running still.

So I was looking at the clutch slave and was thinking possibly my pushrod is not long enough? and therefore not engaging the clutch enough to get it into gear?

So this is where I am stuck, I cant get the car into gear while running without really forcing it, I have very little pressure in the pedal it feels like... any ideas?

Look up clutch pedal adjustment in the FSM. Easy to adjust, it makes the pedal push the slave pin more or less to fix exactly what you describe. I have seen and done it many times. Sounds like right now the pedal is not pushing the pin enough. Tip: Make small adjustments and test drive. Pedal travel too short = won't go into gear with w/ engine running (clutch is not fully disengaging). Too long = clutch will slip (not fully engaging)(try 2nd or 3rd gear up a hill at 35mph and floor it).

Good luck!
