HELP PLEASE!! ELECTRICAL!

I have headlights,breaklight,and interior lights...no dash lighs or running lights...when i change the fuse,turn the lights on, blows right away!. its an 89 s13

Well if you blow the fuse right away then you almost certainly have a short somewhere. The hard part is finding it. My method is to look for damage to wires as well as test with a multi meter. Its a tedious, time consuming, and annoying process... Have fun!

Like ashoe said, it is a time consuming process.

Few things that may help narrow down the problem area:Did this sudenly start or has it allways been this way?Did you change anything recently no matter how small or seemingly unconnected. If so undo the change and re-test.Look over the wire harness very closely as this type of problem many times can be found by locating a pinched or cut wire someplace.

Take your time and follow the wiring diagrams in your FSM.

Lookup the fuse that it's blowing and that should narrow down which wires to test..
