redeye (if I may),
I have an 08 Armada SE that has almost all of the bells & whistles, I love it! It is short only by the nav system (thought I'd do better with a protable) and the hard drive audio (part of the same package). I would strongly recomend getting the Armada. It is the best buy out there in a full sized SUV I've researched them all and depending on your options it is $10,000 - $12,000 less than its nearest competitor (Toyota Sequoia). I've had mine for going on two years now 24,000 miles and I've had no reliability issues with it. I also towed a 31' travel trailer from GA to Ca it did fine. (that's another fun story). I would strongly recomend the extended warranty/service plan. Lets face it, todays cars are computers on wheels and anyone with a computer knows that over time they will glitch. It is worth the investment, I wouldn't; but even if you pay full price for the extended warranty it is money well spent. One more thing. Go to Edmunds.com and you can get all of the dirty little secrets that dealers have and it puts you in a better position to negotiate a deal. Me, I'd low ball them! SUV'S are still a hard sell in todays politically correct world and many dealers are happy to get rid of them if and when they can.
