Help Please, carbouretor rebuild gone bad

I thought i would surpirse my husband and put the rebuild kit in the carbouretor... how hard could it be right?? Now I have wires that I have no idea where they go one is coming from the soleniod and the other from the automatic choke

hey... i'm not currently home to pull up my manual, but unless someone else gets to it before i do i'll try and look up the diagram when i get back

Thank you so much !He found out last night what I did and was tickled but not happy that I couldn't put it back together

so i'm not really coming up with anything here.... i know on the newer models there is a harness for these to go into... but not sure about the '80 model

you should be fine running the electric choke heater wire to the battery... but i'm not sure on the one to the solenoid... you could try running that to the battery as well but i'm not sure how it would work out

Run both wires to the positive side of the coil.
