Help please 2004 i35

1st problem. Im trying to connect blue led foot well light to match the doors, map lights, dome lights, trunk, radio and the blue led strips i installed on the center console and dash. I want to tap in the door open lights so they come on only with door open. Where is the easiest location to tap in the door open light. What color are they in that location. When i pop out the door light the wires look red and white and red and green. Im sorry i cant see very well.help would be greatly appreciated.

2nd problem. I now hear a pinging noise when i first accelerate. Thought i got bad gas so i ran a few bottles of fuel cleaner through. No change. Then ran a bottle of sea foam through a full take of gas. Nothing changed. Have no check engine light on ran code scanner showed no codes. What could this be and how should i try to fix.
