Replaced:
distributor
upper intake plenum seals
plugs wires
plugs
battery
Done:
checked for air leaks
cleaned intake
checked the lifters after removing valve cover.
did a compression test everything was perfect.
removed injector and swapped with another.. still coded p0304
Im only guessing but......is it my ecm? ecc or pcm or whatever they call it now. electronic control module
cylinder 4 has fuel and pressure....inspected after removing the injector.
compression test was literally spot on for cylinder 2 4 6 and 1 3 5 cylinder 3 was about 3 psi off but ill assume I didn't get a great connection on the compression tester. but spot on spot on.
harness to the injector appears excellent. no loose connection and no jacked wires. interior of the connector is clean and corrosion free.
engine idles rough doesn't matter under load or at idle. Just like a crap misfire.
im out of ideas. I don't know if I can just pop a new freaking ecm or ecc or pcm or COMPUTER into it and hope for the best but I don't wanna drop a ton of money and find out it was something simple.
Any help would be great. I know this is a lot to take in but......you see why.
