Personally I think KTS is the bare minimum for quality coils.

D2s are great coilovers.

if all you want is a 1.5" drop then do lowering springs and shocks. since its a daily driver. probably won't need coilovers.

check out the suspension FAQ for spring rates and lowering stats, thats probably a better option

didn't notice you have a gs and a kouki 14 and you're looking into mass produced stuff from china/taiwan?

Do not get the track series. You will hate yourself forever if you do. They are way to stiff, and will send you flying off the road. Out of those choices, the original megans would be the obvious choice.

check the road racing forum there is a pretty long thread on spring rates....I have KTS 8/6 and would honestly say for max grip in a street situation they are to stiff...in fact I had to brake reasonably hard while on the freeway the other day and the high spring rates caused my tire my left front to momentary lock up. The super high spring rates used in most coilovers are simply to much if you are using them for grip on public roads. I would look into spending around the same amount of money on a high quality shock/spring combo If I was gonna do it again (and not because of ride quality, I could care less about comfort...)

if all you're wanting is a 1.5" drop and just daily driving, I second the vote for just springs/shocks. If you're set on coilovers, the Megan or KTS would be a big bang for the buck, or check out powertrix coilovers. I've read that they're pretty good and not so expensive.
