Got some 16x7 with +24 offset. Car has 1.5" drop in front and 1" in rear. So far I am leaning with 215/55/16.

Tires will be GForce Sports. I could get fuzions though.

Thanks family

You have an S14?215/55-16 is stock size for the older Maxima.I'm a fan of the simple 205/55-16. Matches OEM 240SX diameter perfectly. And they weigh less, and good tires will give you just as much grip, lateral or otherwise, as a bigger size.

Yes its an 98 S14. The rims have a good 1" or so lip on them too I forgot to mention. As for purpose light drifting, but most daily driving.

All I got to say is don't get Fuzion's they're poop and don't last very long. They are low-end Bridgestones.

I called the tire shop and they dont have any G-Force sports right now but offered me a choice between BFGoodrich Traction T/A for $90 or Yokoma White K420 for $123. Which of the two would you recommend?

What about some Azenis FK-451's? 84/tire in a 215/55/16http://www.vulcantire.com/451_t.htm No need to buy some expensive tires if you're just going to eat them up drifting.

Not busting your chops or anything, but the Yokos are called YK420.

Out of the traction T/A and the yk420 I would get the traction T/A, but you should just wait for the G-Force sports if that's what you want. I am strongly considering the g-force sports next time I get tires.

Hey guys, in the end I ordered the G-Force sports and they should be in Wednesday. Not bad for $80 bucks a pop.

Hi guys,I actually got the 215/55 but dont like them, they look to big! The sidewall is too big and the height is also so the tire shop will switch them for a smaller size but I am still deciding.

Which one?

205/55 or 205/50 or 215/50?

Thanks!

Hey,Fellas I'm also gunna be looking for tires by next week or the week after.I am waiting for my wheels to come from Japan..Wantanabe rs8.But also not sure of what tire size to go with.My car has gr2s with sportlines.I would like to fill a little fender space but also have a lower profile. The wheels are "16 X 7 in front and "16 X 8 in rear both with a +35 offset.Thanks...

I'm curious how a 225/50/16 would fair on a 16x7.5 +32 wheel on the front. Wondering if there will be scrubbage on my agx's. Or maybe 215 would be better.

Thanks man.......225/50/16 in the rear right? The only thing I dont like about getting diffrent sizes in the rear is then you cant rotate your tires.Oh, well it will definitly look better and perform better though right?

you might notice a bit of understeer with the stagger, but theres ways to fix that

wont perform better without good tires, the impact size has on performance is little to none

the reason youve got different size tires is because youve got different size wheels

yeah a 20mm stagger can be made up fairly easily

225/50-16 on Z32 (16x7.5) wheel rubbed on coilover and also on GR2, on front.205/55-16 a very small gap, but still cleared.

That's on a +45 offset

Do they have more lateral support than the S13 base model seat? I'm not expecting much really.

so on my 7.5' +32's should 225/50 be ok? my rear SSR's are 8'' which is why i wanted to stick with 225 all the way around

If you weigh under 150lbs your gonna wallow around in any stock seat. I'm 225 and S14 Seats still don't work right.

I heard you were looking at Buddy Club or something? Get a shell, SPL should be getting theirs in sometime soon and my Emo friend fits in perfect.

ROFL. Emo kids. They need to eat more.

Me, i'm 5'3, 118lbs, so i slide around in my SE coupe seat. However, I sat in many basemodel seats (the ones with no seperate headrests) and they seem to be more snug. I wish I could get a Buddy Club, but they're just too much $ for me to spend right now. I'll just wait for Nismofly to get rid of his.
